My name is Jennifer Davidson. I am a licensed massage therapist with a certification from the Massage Institute of New England. I have been practicing massage since 1998 with a focus in restoration and injury prevention. I have had training in cranial sacral, reflexology, prenatal, infant and integrative therapies such as fascial unwinding. I have been practicing yoga since 1993 and teaching since 1997.
My certifications include teacher training certification from Frog Pond Yoga Center and range from prenatal training to power yoga. I have studied the different teachings of mindfulness and meditation practice that include The Dalai Lama, Tich Nat Han, Pembra Chodrin, Sri H. W. L. Poonja, Dipa Ma, and Amma.
My experience includes leading meditation groups for women and working one on one with PTSD. I have also completed two certifications in Mat 1 pilates and Barre and have been teaching matpilates since 2011. I currently teach to women 55 and over as well as Senior Centers to focus on strengthening their bodies as they age for injury prevention and overall wellness. My experience also includes a fitness background as well as experience with teaching various styles of meditation. I hold a BA from Seton Hall University with a major in psychology and a minor in business.
